The smoking hull of the transport shuttle was still hot, even now,
two days
after the missile had hit from this strange planet. This was
fantastic, not
only had the seal on the stasis pods carrying Dean Gulland to his new
assignment the Blue Dwarf, not only had the shuttle, according to the
ships
logs apparently lost contact with the ship days earlier, not only ahd
the
pilot and the rest of the crew been kiled in the crash but Den was now
stranded on this planet, with no way of getting off or contacting the
Blue
Dwarf, mind you, he wasnt all that keen on the Blue Dwarf pilots
rescuing
him, from what he'ed heard the piloting department consited of a four
armed
alien, a drunk who caled himself 'Raven', a hot shot who once CRASHED
the
Blue Dwarf and the cheif navigation officer couldnt fly a kite without
hitting something.
"well" sighed Dean, hauling a Bazookoid over his shoulder, "Suppose I
better
meet the neighbours"
He exited the shuttle and headed out across the surface of Plebe.
Hoping to
find something to get him to his new assignement.
