**Actionette** 'Cry havoc and let loose the dogs of war!'

(Tell people to wait but no!!! Tough I've spent I lot of
time on this and I'm not changing it)
Blue Dwarf
Mess hall
Two days after Harris agreed to the paintball match
Harris and the rest of the Blue Dwarf paintball team
assembled in the mess hall to discus battle plans and
to look over the weapons along. Drusilla had also
decided to join up.
The combined efforts of Steev, White Wolf, Lloyd and
the new guy Zack Jarvis had turned out a large stock
pile of weapons. The weapons ranging from fully
automatic paint rifles, handguns and around nineteen
grenades, it had been twenty but Donover handled one
and it went off, covering the sergeant in blue paint and
marking a large blue spot on the mess hall floor, all the
weapons loaded with blue paint. Not only were their
weapons but where were mines and plans for traps and
what White Wolf called a personal paintball deflection
field generator but there only one had been produced.
All the weapons and traps seemed to feature a lot of
use of duct tape.
The plan was drawn up. The match they would be
playing would be 'Capture the flag' so the team would
be divided into two, one defending and one offensive.
Lloyd, Doom, Jarvis, Steev, the barman Owen, Drusilla
and nine other security officers would stay back at the
base it to defend it from any marine attacks. The area
would be heavily mined and traps made from the local
material would be put into place.
Harris, White Wolf, Kayn, Donover and Death Wish will
be moving out towards to the marine base as silently as
possible with the strategy 'divide and conquer' in mind
to remove any defending forces capturing the marine
flag and returning to base.
Then came the matter of who would get to use the
deflection field generator.
************Vega 22- Briefing room**************
Four hours later
The two teams gathered in the briefing room and the
Blue Dwarf term were more then anger to see Johnson
and Efof Yuw'anker were among the marine ranks and
the rivalry between White Wolf and Lt. Biff started off
again, again Biff had his head covered in hamster drool.
The Admiral, CO of the base, stood at the front of the
room in front of a screen and then started up. "Alright
people, this is the deal. This match will take place at
site Gamma, the jungle zone. The bases will be three
miles apart and the match will last until one team
returns to their base with the enemy flag or has
removed all the enemy team from action. The Blue
Dwarf team will be first deployed and then the marine
team will be deployed, each at their bases. There will
be one hour for the teams to setup. Now any
questions?"
There was silance.
"Good."
************Vega 22- Dropshuttle
bay**************
Half an hour later
The marines watched as supplies were loaded up into
the dropshuttle and noticed that the Blue Dwarf teams
were loading up a lot of supplies. They were even more
surprised was when the greasy member of the BD team
climbed into the dropshuttle's storage.
When the last of the supplies and team members were
aboard all the hatches were closed. Robotic arms
groaned into life and began to move and then took
hold of the dropshuttle, lifted the transport ship and
then moved it over a opening inner bay doors. After
the inner doors opened, the outer doors slide open and
the arms released the dropshuttle and living up to its'
name, the shuttle dropped. When a certain distance
away from the base the dropshuttle fired up its' engines.
**********Dropshuttle**************
Inside the shuttle the two teams sat opposite of each
other strapped in place, the marines and security
leaned forward and growled at each other while the
others were more concerned about keeping down their
lunch. White Wolf was giving Lt. Biff a dirty look as was
Harris and the marine Colonel.
*********Planet's surface - Gamma site**********
Twenty minutes later
The Blue Dwarf team watched as the dropshuttle started
off towards the marine's base.
"Alright campers!" Harris shouted. "We have an hour
to setup. So lets move people!"
The supplies were brought into the small building that
was to act as their base and they began to unpack.
Lloyd and White Wolf began to lay the mines and setup
traps, you be amazed on how quickly a six foot
something hamster can dig a pit eight-foot deep.
The weapons armed and the grenades were passed
around, although it was considered an unwise choice
giving any kind of weapons, even if it just loaded with
paint, to Death Wish and Doom.
The camouflage gear was passed out among Harris,
White Wolf, Kayn, Donover and Death Wish. It was like
they were going to war for real then just a game of
paintball.
**********Blue Dwarf - Drive room********
Harris had left orders with Jackson and he knew the
seven-foot tall security officer would obey them as he
was the type to follow things by the book and hated
cheating. Since the only person in the coms
department that wasn't an idiot was working with the
marines Jackson filled in the roll of passing on locations
to the team.
Harris hadn't told Jackson that this was cheating but
unfortunately the Sergeant-major had managed to get
his hands on a book of rules for paintball. Even if it
meant disobeying the Major, Jackson wasn't about to
help them out by cheating but he could help them by
making sure that marines weren't cheating either by
blocking any com sent from the base to the marine
team so the Blue Dwarf team weren't tracked.

One hour later
Harris and the rest of the team put on their coms
headgear and then the protective facemask. The Major
then signalled to the others, then he, White Wolf, Kayn,
Donover and Death Wish moved out in to the jungle
avoiding their own traps and leaving the others to
defend the base and prevent the marines from taking
their flag.
