The booth exploded. It wasn't a very impressive explosion, like you see in
the movies, since this explosion wasn't assisted in exploding by a team of
highly paid special effects artists and pyrotechnics experts. All that
actually happened was that the booth suddenly broke apart into various
pieces which were shot around the room at a fairly high velocity.
However, Lenin and the others failed to notice this at the time since Lenin
had his hands around Dean's neck and was attempting to strangle him, while
at the same time planting his right foot into the crotch of Armer. "Death to
the imperial warmongers!" he yelled.
Meanwhile, the invasion of the upper decks was procedding exactly as
planned. Since security was busy with the fight at the promenade, the
scutters were free to occupy the decks, put up the flag of the New Soviet
Union, and then hand out propaganda phamplets. Lots and lots of propaganda
phamplets.
