Ice cream anyone?

not knowing what to do she started singing a song her mother had created and wrote herself, it was the same song her mother sang to her to stop her from crying, the same song as what put her to sleep as a young one, the song that Eve had sung to the twins to put them back to sleep when she had baby-sat them not to long ago. Tara's sobs became less and less and her cries had turned to a whisper, she listened to the song, she knew that song.

After working for about a week straight catching up on all the paperwork that had accumulated on Dr Ventrites desk (OOC- he was the old deputy medical officer right...? rage beast killed him... right...?). Also his collection of herbal medicines had rotted in the corner cupboard so Tara had got Amber to clean them out, and whilst she was at it to clean the rest of the room. This did not go down well as the 15 year old didn't like cleaning at the best of times. But in the end the room was tidied and paper work done. Tara stopped off at McKenzies (OOC- damnit i used to know the spelling) to sort out the christmas things and to buy presents. She got home, put up the tree with Amber's help,
"Amber dear" she said, sitting on her bed and admiring the tree and newly wrapped presents under it "Where's Rufus?"
"I think he's with Phil... oops..." Tara remembered, she had pushed it to the back of her mind
"P..p..phil?" Amber looked at the floor and shuffled her feet a bit. Tara burst out crying "It's happening again" she said through floods of tears "Girl meets guy... girl and guy fall in love... guy pretends girl never existed" She cried some more, but into Amber's shoulder this time. Amber was slightly confused by this so just went along with it. She stroked her mothers hair
"There, there" Amber cooed. That was when Eve walked in<see eve's post>
"That song" Tara said "I know it... it was.. my mother used to sing it to me" Amber looked on from the end of the bed. Tara sat up, eyes puffy and red "How do you know it" she said with anger in her voice
"I... it... my..." Eve stuttered "My mother used to sing it to me" Eve stood up
"How? my mother made it up! how can yours know it?" Tara looked Eve straight in the eye. Eve turned to avoid Tara's gaze, she saw the picture of Tara's parents. One of them, the woman looked familiar. Eve walked over to it and pulled out a picture from her wallet, she held it up to Tara's picture and gasped
"TARA! it's the same person!" Tara walked over disbelieving the fact. She saw the two pictures, her mother was the same person as Eve's mother,
"Eve... that means.. we're sisters... well half sisters. But it can't be, my mother died when I was 16 and your how old? 15 right? I'm 24... how... my mother died, it can't be... unless.... she survived the crash" Tara went red with anger "Why didn't she tell me! It was my birthday for smeg's sake!" Tara flopped down onto her bed and thought "It's not true! there's only one way" Tara dragged Eve off to the medi-bay
Tara burst into the medi-bay and announced to the room
"I want a DNA test, compared with hers!" She indicated Eve.....<Tag anyone...>
