Niples + Jay "More failed heroes"

Seymour Niples and Jay Chrysler
On the way to the docking bay to rescue Katrina from DK
 
"We need to take them completely by surprise as we dont have any weapons..." said Niples.
"Why don't we have any weapons?" Asked Jay. "It's your ship, we can get as many as we want."
"I erm.... forgot how to use them. And I'm scared I might erm.... shoot myself in the foot."
 
"Ahh, good reason." said Jay, feeling slightly less comfortable being with the former captain now. He didn't seem to know what he was doing as much as he used to.
"Here. This pipe will do as a weapon." Said Niples picking one up from the floor.
"A lead pipe ALWAYS makes a good weapon," said Chrysler.
"Well this one's plastic. Will it do?" Asked Seymour.
 
"You want to fight a trained warrior from a dark and evil parallel universe with a plastic pipe?" asked Jay in bewilderment.
Seymour swung the pipe around his head like a sword and accidentally let it go, it clattered away and caught a electricity mains wire, which sparked viciously at them.
"Oops." Niples said as he ran like a girl away from the sparking wire.
 
"Actually, you might be better off without a weapon." Said Jay.
 
But then Jay had an idea, it took Seymour by surprise because he shouted it out. "I have an idea!"
They walked down to the nearest waepons locker.
 
Jay pointed to the palm-scan device that opened the locked locker. This locker was for emergency use only so required the hand-print scan of either the captain or first officer. Jay didn't yet have the level of access required.
 
Seymour looked at the palm-scanner. "I... It won't electrocute me or anything will it?"
"No..." said Jay.
Seymour reached his hand out.
"...It might tickle a bit though."
Seymour quickly pulled his hand back in fright.
 
Jay groaned, he was loosing patience with his former captain. He grabbed him by the shoulders and shook him. "Look, if Katrina's being taken hostige then she needs you to be brave, especially if you're going to save her. You need to be there for her. A tear formed in Jay's eye as he remembered how he wasn't there for his sister when she needed him, although there was nothing he couldn't have done.
 
"Its too hard. I dont remember how to be brave!" Seymour whined. "Why do you think I have this rediculous saucepan helmet on my head?"
 
"Then learn again! The Captain Seymour Niples I knew wouldn never have any fear or doubt about rescuing a member of his crew, especially his girlfriend. And you can still be like that."
 
"Really?"
 
"Really."
Seymour placed his hand on the scanner, the door opened and they walked into the small weapons room which was lined wall to wall with an array of impressive bazukoids.
Jay helped himself and took as many as he could. 
Seymour picked up a hefty rifle and clumsily aimed it around the room.
 
Jay snatched the rifle off him before he accidentally let it go off. "One step at a time though, we don't want to get hurt now do we?"
 
He handed Seymour another plastic pipe instead.
