Jay slowly opened his eyes. Groggily he looked around at is surroundings. He was in bedroom of some kind, luxurious, he lay in the middle of an enormous four poster bed, there were doors leading off this room, they were open, so Jay could see through them and into the adjacent rooms, one was a bathroom, the other a living room, but each were bigger than he and Alota’s ENTIRE quarters unit. 
There was a knocking on the door. “Umm…come in?” Jay said, confused.
The alien that had abducted him earlier entered. “Good day Mr. Chrysler, I must apologise for my earlier conduct, I had no idea”
“No idea about what?”            
“I think he’d like to tell you himself, please follow me”
Jay cautiously followed him out of the room and into the corridor, Vanessa walked out of a nearby doorway, also being led by a uniformed alien.
“Whats going on?” Jay asked her “I don’t know, when I refused to answer their questions earlier they stunned me, when I awoke I was in here and they were apologising”
“Something strange is going on”
“C’mon!” said Vanessa “When ISNT it?!”
“Here we are Miss. Chrysler, Mr. Chrysler” said the alien as they arrived at a large set of double doors.  The two guards pulled the doors opened and gestured for Jay and Vanessa to pass through. Nervously they did so. “We shall leave you now” said the alien that had captured Jay “He wants to see you both alone”
“He?” asked Jay “Who he?”
“Like I said, he wants to tell you himself”
The guards closed the doors.
Jay and Vanessa turned to face inside the room; it was an office, a huge office. With a desk almost as big as the Blue Dwarf, the chair was facing away from the two officers but they could tell someone was sat there.
“It’s been along time” came a voice from the chair, which swivelled around. The occupant of the chair stood. “Hello Jay, Vanessa, it’s good to see you both again”
“KINGSLEY!” they both said, excitedly and ran over to the desk.
“Its true you really ARE alive!” Vanessa squealed, and hugged her eldest brother tightly, tears forming in her eyes.
“I don’t’ believe this!” Jay said “This one of your pranks bro?!”
“Did it work?!”
“Had me fooled!” Jay said, smiling “Welcome back” he extended his hand and Kingsley took it, shaking it fiercely. “So what happened? How did you end up here?”
“There is much to discuss” said Kingsley, “Join me for dinner”
 
  A few hours later Jay and Vanessa were seated at an enormous dining table, where an immense banquet had been laid on. Kingsley sat at the head of the table. “So Jay” he said “Couldn’t help but notice your wedding ring, anyone I know?”
“Doubt it!” Jay replied, “Her name’s Alota, we work together on the Blue Dwarf.” He took out his wallet and showed his brother a picture of his wife.
“You always did pull the hot ones!”
“Yeah, she’s something alright”
Vanessa spoke, “So come on, tell us, what happened?”
Kingsley took a sip from his wine glass.
“As you know, I was testing the Wildfire shuttle. Well, the engines didn’t work as they were designed to. There was a fault, and an explosion, the Space Corp. thought that it was the ship exploding, but in fact it was the dimensional rift you came through forming. I got pulled in, Wildfire was heavily damaged, and there was no way I could take off again.”
“Go on” said Jay.
“I crash landed here, about 20 miles out from the city, This planet was at the brink of tearing itself apart through war, I was rescued by one of their generals. We became friends, and I helped them build weaponry to use against their enemies in the northern hemisphere using technology from the Wildfires engines. It worked well, too well. The entire northern hemisphere was engulfed by an anti-matter blast. It wasn’t something I was proud of.”
He stopped for a moment.
“Anyway, a few years passed and the general who had rescued me passed away, his people were lost without him, and said that as I had helped them so significantly during the war I should take his place, hence I was named the leader of these people.”
“YOU WIPED OUT AN ENTIRE HEMIS….” Jay blurted before Kingsley raised his hand to stop him
“Like I said, it wasn’t something I was proud of, I used my new found power to unite the people of this world, I helped rebuild the civilisations that my own weaponry had destroyed. And for the first time EVER this planet was united as one. Civilisation flourished, I had created a utopia.”
“Forgive me” said Jay interrupting again “But what we saw outside was no utopia”
“No, you see, we had become so wrapped up in our own world, created in just a few short years that we forgot all about outside threats, the next planet in this system launched an attack against us, using dated nuclear weapons, dated, but still powerful enough to do some serious damage. We hit back with Wildfire missiles, destroyed an entire race.”
He stopped again, taking another sip from his glass.
“I realised that since my rule began, my people had become to complacent. I decided NO MORE. I would eliminate threats against my new home before they occurred, I ordered Wildfire missiles to be launched against the other inhabited planets in our system”
“YOU DESTROYED AN ENTIRE STAR SYSTEM?!” Vanessa was shocked
“Yes, but I didn’t stop there, before you knew it, I had launched the planets space fleet, and attacked all the nearby star systems, some surrendered, others we had to destroy.”
“YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT YOU’VE BECOME SOME KIND OF GALACTIC EMPEROR?”  Jay yelled
“Exactly, and now that you two are here we can rule this galaxy together, side by side the three of us.”
“I think I’ll pass” Jay said
“Me too!”  Vanessa continued.
“It’s not as easy as that, you see, I don’t intend to stop in this dimension, the message I sent to the space corp. was a warning.”
“A warning?”
“That I’m coming, and that any resistance will be met with execution ”
“I came here hoping to find my brother” Jay said “instead I come here to find that he really is dead. Come on Vanessa” he said throwing down his knife and fork, “I just lost my appetite”
The two of them got up and headed for the door.
“You’re making a mistake”
“The only mistake we made was hoping to bring our brother home” Vanessa said, tears pouring down her cheeks.
“Anyone who goes against me becomes my enemy, walk out on me and I’ll be forced to destroy you”
“Goodbye Kingsley” Jay said and walked out of the door
“GUARDS!” shouted Kingsley into the intercom “STOP THEM! Use any force necessary!”
