Tick Tock, Tick Tock, Who's afraid of a real warped Doc?
Rpg:
======================================================================
Who: Keto, Coffey, Wildflower, Trisees, Shakes.
Where: Medibay.
======================================================================
Trisees groaned as he stumbled around the medibay, clutching his
sore head and making his way over to Shakespeare's desk. Shakespeare
on the other hand was bound to a chair in the far corner of the
medibay, ropes securing his arms, his legs and his torso, while a
large band of white was secured aorund hs mouth, preventing him from
talking. He had resorted to continually giving anyone else in the
medibay evil stares. Trisees picked up a glass of water and, whilst
still clutching at his head, moved over to Shakespeare.
He took of the gag and merely shut his eyes as the torrent of
verbal abuse.
"Drink this, Mr Shakespeare," suggsted Trisees. "You've not had
anything to eat or drink for a while and you could do with something
nutritious."
"Thous't earth vexing giglet," muttered Shakespeare, before opening
his mouth widely. Trisees sighed, and tipped some of the water into
Shakespeare's mouth.
Shakespeare gulped and then snarled.
"Leavs't me be'eth, scientist."
"I'm afraid I can't, Mr Shakespeare, I've got to monitor you and
such, plus you only have thirteen seconds before you become...well,
that's what I aim to find out," explained Trisees.
They waited in silence, Trisees wearing a lopsided smile of
anticipation, Shakespeare wearing a look that said the owner not only
was having a bad day, but could easily kill anyone that so much as
breathed. The timer clicked down, and down and down, till it hit
00:00.
"Goodbye, Mr Shakespeare," said Trisees.
There was a flash of white light, and Shakespeare's scowl morphed
into a look of panic.
The light vanished and Shakespeare immeditately began to struggle.
"Hello, there," said Trisees to the new Shakespeare. The new
Shakespeare did not answer, he simply whimpered and tried to escape.
"Now now, don't worry, no one is going to hurt you, I'll admit,
that the bonds of which you are currently tied in might be a tad
scary, but there is a reason for this which I will soon explain,"
said Trisees warmly.
The New Shakespeare was breathing heavily and appeared terrified of
everything. Trisees gingerly untied the person and watched as the
New Shakespeare jumped out of the bed and ran on all fours over to
the corner of the room, hiding behind one of the desks and shivering.
"What does one make of this," mused Trisees, smiling. He waltzed
over to Keto's door and knocked on it.
"Dr. Keto, Dr. Shakespeare has changed into something else.
However, I'm not sure what it is," he said through the toughened
steel. there was the sound of a scraping chair and the door slid
open, Keto's perplexed form standing there.
"Where is he, Lawrence?"
"Over there, sir," said Trisees pointing to the quivering shape by
the desk.
"This is a medibay, not a zoo," muttered Keto under his breath.
The two of them walked over to the New Shakespeare and looked down
at him.
"He looks like a frighetend animal," said Keto.
There was silence from Trisees and Keto, whilst the new Shakespeare
whimpered again.
"What if he IS an animal?" asked Trisees.
"What, Lawrence?" asked Keto.
"What if he has the mind of a cat, or a dog, or something and that
he is acting like this because he thinks he's an animal?" suggsted
Trisees, grinning.
"Oh I long for the days when it was just Shakespeare onboard this
ship and a not a whole schizophrenic ward," moaned Keto.
"Just leave him here, but don't let him out of the medibay, okay.
Tell you what, go and put him in the quarrantine room, Lawrence, that
will be great for him, till we work out what to do with him, and till
I care about actually doing anything."
Trisees nodded, as Coffey and Wildlfower entered the medibay.
They were both surprised to hear an almost primeval growl emmanate
from the corner containing Shakespeare.
"What was that?" asked Coffey, worried.
"Sounded like a dog," said Wildflower.
"Ah, ladies, try to not be upset, but it was Shakespeare. It would
seem that the new personality in his body has some kind of close tie
with animals."
Trisees whistled loudly, and shouted "Here boy!"
Coffey and Wildflower stood in the doorway utterly confused, and
even more so when they saw Shakespeare, on all fours bounding over to
Trisees, who tubbed his back.
Coffey and Wildlfower stood Dumbstruck, as Trisees led Shakespeare
over to the quarantine room at the back of the medibay and locked
Shakespeare in there.
Then Trisees turned back to the still speechless Wildlfower and
Coffey.
"Would you please explain what the frell is going on, Larry!" asked
Wildflower forcefully.
Trisees looked down at his watch.
"I would love to, Miss Wildflower, Miss Coffey, but it would seem
that I have only four seconds left of consciousness. Treat the
newcomer nicely, whoever they may be," he said warmly.
There was a flash of white light, and Trisees expression changed
from his smile to someone elses puzzled look.
Wildflower and Coffey, both wishing that Shakespeare had never
changed all those months ago, sighed wearily, and walked into the
medibay, the doors finally closing.
Coffey sat at her desk, whilst Wildflower walked over to the new
Trisees, who was gazing around the medibay in a kind of quiet awe.
"Sir, you'd better come with me, I'm sure you'll want some
explanations," stated Wildflower, taking hold of the new Trisees
arm. They wandered over to Coffey's desk and sat down at the two
remaining chairs.
Coffey looked at the New Trisees.
"My name is Hazel Coffey, chief plastic surgeon, and next to you is
Jennifer Wildflower, trainee surgeon. I imagine you're pretty
confused and have no idea why you're here?" Coffey asked.
The new Trisees looked at her and nodded.
"You could say that," he agreed. "Where am I?"
"Currently onbaord the JMC spaceship, the Blue Dwarf, the medibay
to be precise."
"Right," said the New Trisees, nodding slowly. "What year is
this?" he asked.
"2101," said Coffey.
"2101?" asked the new Trisees, before gasping. "How on earth did I
get here?"
"Well, it's a little tough to explain. Do you belive in past
lives?"
The new Trisees nodded.
"Sort of, yes," he affirmed.
"Well, our Chief Surgeon has been having problems with his mind,
and his past lives have been coming back to life and taking over his
body. I know that might sound a little far fetched and even
impossible, hell, it does to me and I've been living with it for the
last five months, but it is the truth," explained Coffey.
The New Trisees was silent, before nodding.
"Well, if it is, or if it isn't, there's not a whole lot I can do
about it, is there?" he said, smiling. "I guess you're stuck with me
until whenever."
Wildflower smiled.
"Wait a minute," she said, "We don't know your name."
"Oh, sorry about that, I completely forgot. It's Mayer. Sean
Mayer."
<Ooc: grins widely.>
