Splurge, HoloDeck and a damn funny smell

Dean had given up on the whole Splurge thing, it just wasn't working. And so
leaving his incapacitated drinking buddies to it. Headed off to look for
Jay. He was wandering on the deck above the holodeck whenwas it just him, or
could he smell burning? Burning, that wasn't good, especially thi close to
the ships hull, if it should burn through that, then, well, he didn't want
to think about it. Heading towards a lift, he decided that the smell of
melting cable was distinctly bad.
"Holly?"
"Yes?"
"Whats that smell?"
"The Holodeck."
"Oh."
He turned around, wait a second.
"Holly?"
"Yes?"
"Do you mean the Holodeck's on fire?"
"In a manner of speaking."
"Where's security, this is their bag, oh, forget security, I'll do it!"
With this Dean sprinted towards a lift, tripped and blacked out as his head
slammed into the holodeck floor button.
