A mental problem in the hand is worth two in the bush
Who: Cerebrum, Trisees
Where: Medical base
"You know, Trisees," Cerebrum said calmly, "if it weren't for the
fact that you're nice, and that the mental problems of one body with
two minds is going to become extremely lucrative for me, I'd beat you
over the head with a mallet for insulting me."
"Sorry about that," Trisees said, grining inanely.
"But it just so happens that I have discovered a cure for you,"
Cerebrum said, grabbing Trisees by the arm and dragging him back to
the psychiatric section.
"All you have to do," he said pointing, "is sit in that chair over
there, and pull that helmet over your head, while I sit in this
second chair over here and work the controls. This will allow me to
theoretically use outside mass and create two different people, one
of whom will be Shakespeare, and the other who will be Trisees. There
won't be any cellular disintigration, because matter will be added to
make up for any matter lost. And as for the insanity, that's where
the second chair comes in. I'll just download your mental problems
into my brain, where the vast amount of drugs I consume daily will
just treat it like all the other mental diseases that I have. Or, the
machine might reduce us both to small piles of ash. So, you want to
try?"
