Dirk, Dren, and captain Niples were having the time of thier lives sledding in the winter wonderland that the promenade. Dren was writing his name in the snow when Tom Dick and Harry, three of Harris' old goons approached.
"Put that thing back in youe pants" Harry said.
"Can I finish?" Dren asked.
"I guess so." Harry replied. Dren finishes. "You know, I'm going to have to cart you away for this." Harry smiked. Dren looked around for the captain. He was burying Dirk in the snow.
"Captain, come here for a second." Dren called. Niples staggers over (the trio had consumed much juice derived from fermented vegetables).
"I think Dirk's dead." The Captain said. A tear appeared in his eye. "I buried him at the k-12, He would have wanted it that way."
"He just passed out. Don't worry we'll dig him up in a minute. I need to talk to you." Dren said. He pulls the captain aside and whispers in his ear at lenth. The Captain approaches Harry when Dren's finished.
"My compatriot informs me he is to be incarserated. This will not do. As the Captain of this vessle I pardon Dren for all crimes up to this point in time." The Captain declares. Harry looks incredulous.
"Sir, with respect." Harry protested.
"No. I have made my desicion." The Captain hiccupped. Dren taps him on the shoulder.
"Did you forget something?" Dren asked.
"Oh, yeah. This ruling stands no matter what I may say in the future." The Captain smiled. Harry shakes his head.
"I don't know about this. I'm going to go look it up in my regulations." Harry stated and storms off. Niples drunkenly looked at Dren.
"Is that everythign you wanted me to say?" He asked.
"Yup." Dren replied and started to leave.
"Where are you going?" The Captain asked.
"I'm tired of snow. I'm going to see about converting the obsevation deck into a beach. With a lagoon." Dren said.
 "OK." Niples replied. After Dren left Niples scratched his head. Was he forgetting something? Oh yeah, He had to finish burying Dirk.
