"Definitely something wrong," said Coffey to herself as one by one
the rest of the Away team trundled after Trisees. She sighed and
joined the crowd.
"Stay there Tiddles!" Jay shouted to the tamed Pteranodon as he led
the way into the research base, Bazookoid in his left hand, a torch
in his right. risees was just behind him, blissfully humming to
himself, "Ah..this looks promising" Jay muttered to himslef as he
pulled a switch on the wall the lights slowly flickered into life.
switching off his torch he turned to the group.
"first thing first, we find a way to contact the 'Dwarf maybe the can
send Kay....um..Dean to rescue us." Jay quickly changed his mind
about who to ask for when he remembered a rescue from Kayn would most
certainly lead to them being marooned on another planet.
The group moved together through a nearby door, revealing an immense
laboratory, packed to the walls with advanced equipment. The medical
crew separated to examine the equipment more closely, Cerebrum headed
off for the door marked 'Psych-lab' from where wails of delight could
be heard as the opportunity for Mental
torture....uh...liberation...and profit seemed imminent.
Jay headed for the console in the corner. Followed by Amber, who
seemed to follow him everywhere, and seemed to have grown to around
ten years old now.
"Chrysler to Blue Dwarf.." Jay didnt even get a response in a static
form.
Removing the panel he looked inside to see damaged circuit board's.
"yippee" he said "Trisee's gimmie a hand here."
"Certainly Mr. Chrysler...wouldnt want to see you struggle alone,
especially when you're trying to help us all get home"
"um...Jenny...can I get an idea on where 'smiling boy' here is gonna
be fixed?...hes scaring me..."
