Harris \'I\'m invincable\'
Who: Harris, soldiers and Gelfs
Where: A mining colony on some sandbox hellhole of a planet
When: Look we're in the middle of a battle here
Why: Why don't?!
The sand filled wind blasted around Harris as he pushed forward. Dressed for
desert without an inch of skin exposed to the nightmarish elements and his eyes
covered by goggles, he was identical to the rest of the soldiers from the mining
colony he accompanied. As for weapons the Major carried a sword in his hand,
the weather made it impossible for any mechanical item with moving parts to
function hence making most standard weapons unless.
The human's of this colony had been at war with a band of Gelfs for years now
and still both sides gained nor lost any land. The reason, where was enough
minerals in this planet to make anyone rich or to enhance a races' war-engine
ten fold.
How did Harris get involved in this war, well, he had to do something while
waiting for the ship to take him away from his planet.
War cries, the sound of metal clashing and screaming of the dying could barely
be heard in the sand filled wind. To call this planet's weather harsh was a
under statement, the word to describe the weather has yet to be found.
Harris charged forward and cut down another two Gelfs and then he saw soldiers
being cut down by a large black clad Gelf.
"Who dares challenge me?" The Gelf yelled, barely hearable.
Harris stepped forward and after a clash of blades Harris had removed the Gelf's
right arm.
"Tis but a scratch!" The Gelf yelled and the fight continued for a few minutes.
Then Harris hacked off the Gelf's remaining arm. "I had worse!"
This Gelf's insane, Harris thought and then sliced off the Gelf's leg as it
began to kick at him.
"Had enough yet?" The Gelf bellowed as it began to hop around and tried to head
butt the Major.
This is unbelievable, Harris thought wondering if anything short of death would
stop this nutter Gelf and then hacked off its' last leg. The Major looked down
at the Gelf, the only bits of its' body left was its' torso and head, but yet it
still wasn't giving up. "Had enough yet?!"
Harris shrugged and walked away, cutting down a couple of other Gelfs.
"Come back you coward!" The Gelf lacking all its' limbs shouted. "Alright, we
call it a draw."
