OOC- new Parrotts
Posted byPosted: Nov 3, 2001, 8:16pm
There's been no response at all from Yahoo. I sent a message yesterday
saying that I've tried to get it working again but it seems to have been
gobbled up by unknown forces. So far I've heard nothing back so I've set up
a new group called parrottsbar
go to : http://groups.yahoo.com/group/parrottsbar
the email is: parrottsbar@yahoogroups.com
I've copied everyones address' over (with the exception of djinnopal@...
who I'm assuming was DJ. A bit of an emotional moment as I deleted that one)
And also, I mentioned this in my e-mail which dissapered:
As we now have the brand spanking new domain name bluedwarf.co.uk, I'm
offering e-mail forwarding addresses which are personalised to this group
eg. I am Onion@...
any e-mail sent to this address goes straight to my normal account. Its just
a cool name to tell your friends that's a little bit more memorable,
especially if you have a long e-mail address that's a pain to tell people
because you have to write it down.
If anyone wants an address, just tell me the name you want (the bit before
the @) and the e-mail address you want it pointing to. It doesn't have to be
the address you use for the BD, if you have another one for more personal
e-mails you can use if for that :-)
