Charging

Who: Cerebrums
Where: Docking bay control room
BD Cerebrum waited for the response from the Red Dwarf, and didn't
receive one.
"Well, that's it then," he told the other Cerebrums, "Initiate the
primary charging sequence, set it to maximum power."
"How do you do that?"
"Never mind, I'll do it myself," BD Cerebrum sighed, then punched a
button on the control panel.
"Now what?"
"We wait for about two hours, then we can fire it at maximum power."
"Isn't that a little dangerous?" one of the Cerebrums said.
"Of course not," BD Cerebrum told him, "The only thing that could
possibly go wrong would be if somebody were to activate some form of
temporal device on board the ship when we fired, which would cause
the ship to be flipped back to the dimension that it came from
originally, since we're in an alternate dimension right now."
"Ah."
"So, let's go get a drink while we're waiting."
"Thought you'd never ask, let's go."
The Cerebrums stood up and walked out.
