What ever happened to Major Harris

Harris merely glared as he looked around, watching people go about their
business and living their lives.
How long ago did he take his leave from his duties aboard the rust-bucket the
Blue Dwarf? Who knows but he wasn't going back yet, for starters the BD had
disappeared and hadn't been seen since. Not that the Major cared.
It had been two stops from that hell-hole of colony and it would be another five
before he got to where he desired. Family, it all was about family. it was
going to be a few more days until the next ship heading out to his next
location. Damn.
"Frank?" A very familar voice called behind him.
"Oh bloody hell!" Harris muttered. Not here, not now, what the hell was she
was going here and now.
The Major turned and his heart (yes he has one) skipped several beats. indeed
it was her, the one true love of his lifetime, it was Sharon Dimmock.
