When: just before a grenade blows up

Keto did, however, and fortunately for him his brain registered this fact before he'd even taken three steps into the room.
"GRENADE!" he yelled, and immediately spun himself round behind the Tree.
*Rustle?* There was a clink as the grenade hit the floor... ---------------------------------
"A grenade..." Keto explained "...Blows up anything in it's path"
*RUSTLE!?* said the tree alarmed and hid behind Keto. Keto seethed and dived behind the Starbug with Phil and Tara, the tree waddled over dripping sap. Tara looked up
"Tree! your ok" Tara said, she got up nursing her shoulder and went to check the tree over. Keto glared at Tara "Not knowing much about intelligent Trees, I would say you'll live"
*Rustle* the tree said relived. Tara went back over to Phil and lent against the huge landing leg  the four of them were hiding behind
"7...6...." he counted down and gave a grim look at Tara. Tara suddenly realised why he was counting and looked out quickly at FeSod. FeSod stood there and blocked the exit so the dwarfian army couldn't get through. "5.....4...." continued Phil quietly. Tara looked away and went to hide in Phil's shoulder, but he pulled away, "3....2....1..." there was an explosion, it echoed through the shuttle-bay, body parts squelched on walls and slid down them thudding to the floor. Tara ran out to where FeSod had been, and cried again....
