RPG:-
Captain Seymour Niples
Captain's quarters
---snip-----
Mike was banging on the captain's door for a while now, but no answer. At the door it still said "In the shower".
"Does this guy make sure there are absolutley no microscopic germs on his body? COME ON! GET OUT OF THE SHOWER!"
Finally, the shower stopped and soon stepped out Captain Niples in a bath robe, "Oh, hello, Micheal. What can I do for you?"
Mike was just about to explain the whole story when a message came out. It said that Seymour should go to the cleaner ladies quarters alone and unarmed.
"Should I come, Captain? Just in case?"
"No. I need to do this on my own"
"yessir, Captain"
---end snip-----
Seymour went back into his luxurious quarters, (which had only just been refurnished in classic teak after they got flooded when the BD crashed a few weeks ago). For the past few days he had spent time in his room doing silent maditation, and relaxing by reading and listening to classical music. He had been oblivious to the invasion and had trusted Whitewolf with all command related matters.
He threw on some clothes, a shirt, and smart brown trousers. Seymour always dressed smartly, but today he wanted to make a bigger impression. Somebody had kidnapped his girlfriend, he didn't know who. But he had the feeling that he wanted to hurt them.
Maybe he should send a nasty letter first. No, that would take too long. Maybe he should fill in a form of complaint to the J.M.C for providing them with such low tech security systems, leaving cleaners available to be kidnapped at random?
He decided against it and grabbed the shotgun he kept on his bookcase dedicated to 19th century poems and contemporary opera. He put on his swede jacket and walked out of the door. Only coming back to snatch his tie, which he quickly tied as he stormed down the corridor.
A stocky man stepped out of a side-corridor blocking his way.
"I am Olaf Peterson from the Red Dwarf!" the man boomed in a voice which had a slight foreign accent. "My captain wants to see you. He wants to..."
Peterson saw the fist coming at him but couldn't do anything about it. His head flicked back hard from the punch and he fell flat on his back.
"I will see your captain later." Said Niples in his soft english accent which contradicted the hard-man punch he just gave the Red Dwarf crewman.
"Right now I have to save my girlfriend from someone very evil indeed."
Peterson moaned and held his bleeding nose.
Captain Niples tapped a computer wall panel and Holly appeared. "Nice punch captain!" the computer head complimented.
"Thank you very much Holly." Said Niples. "But I need to know where Katrina is, can you find her on internal sensors?"
"She's in her quarters..." The floating head said, and Seymour quickly ran in the direction of Katrina Swete's personal quarters, he knew exactly where they are as he'd been there plenty of times before.
"...Both of them." Said Holly, but he was out of hearing range.
As he ran down the corridor Seymour loosened his tie, but still kept it on. Anyone else would have thought that going into a fight wouldn't have required a tie, but Niples wanted to make an impression on his enemies. The tie stated he was civilised.
***Katrina Swete's quarters***
"Hello, I am Seymour Niples, captain of this ship. I do not like terrorists, thieves or people who kidnap the girlfriends of starship captains. So would you please be kind enough to place your hands in the air so that I do not have to shoot you."
Then after his speech, Seymour stood with his mouth gaping open as he saw who was holding a gun to Katrina's head. It was Katrina.
But she had dark hair, and was just as attractive as her blonde counterpart.
He realised that he didn't want to shoot her any more.
<Over to you Katrina, I hope this doesn't have any plot contradictions, as I've not read all of the posts lately due to limited net access>
