"...and here's the best bit. Since your patients can't actually die
in psychiatry, you can keep charge them as much as you want for as
long as you want, without the risk of having to find new patients.
And once you get skilled enough, you won't even have to pay attention
to them," BD Cerebrum told the RD Cerebrums, explaining the
intricities of psychiatry, "And we mustn't forget blackmail
advantages and the hardness to prove malpractice suits."
"Amazing," said Cerebrum-4, "So, this is better than being a medical
doctor. You wouldn't mind telling us how to become a psychiatrist,
would you?"
"Easy, all you have to do is get rid of the other invaders from your
ship, and I'll just fill out the necessary forms in my office."
"So, all we have to do is betray our companions on our ship and
you'll makes us psychiatrists?"
"Yup. It's that simple."
After a brief confrence, the spokes-Cerebrum turned to BD
Cerebrum, "We've taken a vote and we'll do it using the psychiatric
skills you've taught."
"Excellent. Now, go forth and use psycho-babble!" Cerebrum commanded,
pointing off in a random direction." The Cerebrums scattered and
headed off in search of the alternate realty versions of the BD crew,
visions of dollar signs in their heads.
