The gunshot had stirred something. Steev lay back and looked at the bit of
his ear, lying beside him. He didn't feel the pain any more...only the
surfacing of, well, SOMETHING. He didn't know yet what it was until it was
too late...
"SUPER ENGINEER!!!!!!!"
Super Engineer leapt to his feet, produced a soldering iron from nowhere,
and barged Edwards into the wall. Before she could react, spit, shout,
whatever, the Engineer was happily moulding her to the wall.
"Got to fixfixfixfixfix!!! Can't have blood on bulkhead!!! Fiiiiiiiix
it!!!!!!"
Super Engineer stepped back. A healthy prison of metal now encased the dark
Edwards to the wall.
"All fixed!!!!"
He turned round to 'repair' Dark Katrina...but there was no-one to be found.
"Shit," said Steev, reverting to normal. "I think it may be time to find
somewhere to lie down"
With that, Steev legged it sharpish out of the room.
