OOC- Longwood awards
Posted byPosted: Oct 6, 2001, 6:12am
Hi all, and a special hello to the new members too, whom I havn't yet
greeted. I hope you like the Blue Dwarf and live with us forever- as there
is no going back to the outside world...mwahahaha!
There's been some absolutely fantastic posts been written lately, and I'm
sorry that I havn't had time to be part of this current storyline what with
moving into university and not having internet access in my room. The
college PC's have only just started letting me log on (they're tempermental
things) so I'll be able to check my e-mails more often now. But I'll still
be a little slow until I manage to sort out a rota of when to use the PC's
for work/BD etc.
Anyway, I'm sure most of you have heard by now about the tragic death of our
much-loved member DJ Longwood. A great idea has been suggested to me by Jay
that will allow us to remember DJ, and so that her name lives on. We will
have a set of yearly BD awards called
The Longwood Awards
Awards will be given on such things like "Best male", "Best female", "best
officer", "most entertaining writer" etc
A special page of the website will be created for these awards where the
winners are mentioned.
As I'm not going to be able to upload things to the web from my PC, Jay has
agreed to run the awards.
I hope this is alright with everyone, and good luck!

DJ looked the sodden mop over before saying, "I'll mop the floor with em."
Katrina shook her head. "One condition; no cliches."

Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running
around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills
and listening to repetitive electronic music."
