When:- a few hours after Jays brought the new people aboard
"yes," sighed Alota "you have permission to come aboard"
Alota contacted Niples, and then Edwards to explain the situation.
"I think you better send a security team down to the shuttle bay too
Ms. Edwards, just in case"
"Alota" said Jay "I wanna go down there too, after all I used to
serve on the Red Dwarf"
"Ok, but take a weapon"
Jay took a pistol from the weapons locker positioned at the back of
the drive room and walked over to kiss his fiancee.
Alota raised her hand in front of her face "If you think Im gonna
kiss you after you got us stuck here on MY WATCH! you've gotta be
crazy"
Jay sulking muttered.."sorry honey.." and walked out dragging his
feet.
He arrived at the shuttlebay at the same time as Edwards and her
security team, which consisted of Schweeble, DJ , Colxfile, Troy
Hardkill and Tom Dick and Harry.
Rimmers shuttle was just coming in to land.
The gangplank hissed open.
Arnold Rimmer stepped down from within the ship.
Edwards stepped forward, "If you'd care to relinquish your weapons
Mr Rimmer."
Rimmer placed a small knife and gun into Edwards hand. "I cant.." he
cut himself off mid-sentence as someone off to the side caught his
eye.
"YOU SET ME UP!"
"What?" asked Edwards puzzled
"You're in league with the Red Dwarf!"
"No were giving you the asylum you asked for.." Schweeble began.
"LIES!" rimmer was clearly not buying it.
"If you're not in league then why is the Red Dwarf's cheif of
security standing over there!" He yelled pointing over towards
Chrysler.
"JAY CHRYSLER?" Schweeble, Dj and Edwards screamed in unison.
Jay looked up with a 'who me' expression.
"Get away from me!" Rimmer yelled
and ran for it. barging through the security team he bounded for the
door.
"Well that could have gone better.."
Jay piped.
