Re: The Hamster Fluffs up! - a sort of \"Pre-\" action post...
Who: Cerebrum and various other NPCs
Where: Medi-bay, then lower decks
When: Ten past upset, quarter to infuriated
"Where is the hamster?" Cerebrum asked as he entered the medi-bay.
The occupants of the medi-bay noticed something unusual about him.
Perhaps it was that his stride was more confident, or perhaps it was
the small burns on his clothing. Or maybe, just maybe, it was the
black executioners hood on his head and the battle axe in his hand.
"Why?" Coffey asked.
"I'm going to hit him with this axe until he gives back the millions
of dollarpounds he stole from my account illegally, thuse driving the
psychiatric budget into the red. We've had to declare bankruptcy.
Fortunately, we were able to make an insurance claim when the floor
of Captain Niples office collapsed into the psychiatric office. Good
thing he wasn't in it at the time. Now, where's the hamster?"
"White Wolf just went down to the lower decks to where Trisees built
his machine-"
Cerebrum left the room, heading to the lower decks. He had heard
about Trisees' machine. It was like the one he had constructed during
his senior year when he was at medical school getting his degree in
Psychiatry, though Trisees' was more primative and not nearly as
efficient as Cerebrum's.
A few hours later
Cerebrum hit the door with his axe until it opened, and walked into
the mad scientist's lab, and I use the term scientist loosely.
Not having had seen much of White Wolf, Cerebrum wasn't sure which of
the two giant hamster's in the room was Commander White Wolf, so he
just made a general announcement to the room. "Give me my money back,
now, or I'll keep arguing with you until the effectiveness of my
pills runs and and I'll go on a mindless rampage throughout the ship,
slaughtering random crewmembers until I get cornered by security in
the drive room, where I'll hold the Captain and the rest of the
senior staff hostage for three hours before security storms the room
and kills me with a well placed power rifle shot. So hand over my
money."
Cerebrum was unphased by the two giant hamsters, he had seen worse,
though, admitidlly not while he was sane.
