M'Ress
MRess was wondering why it was she kept seeing bipedal creatures who seemed
to do nothing but argue with each other. Plus she had the distinct
impression that the new place under the water at present was not a place she
would seriously consider going to whether she was dead or alive. The large
feline Security Chief from the Chicaba System was beginning to wonder if
maybe this was nothing but a dream or a nightmare she was experiencing
whilst she was asleep between her planets.
The 6ft cat turned and headed out of the room she had found herself in and
decided that if it wasnt a dream, maybe she could find her way back to her
Ranger try some rudimentary repairs and try to release herself from the
strange ship she was in. She tossed her red mane behind her and away from
her eyes, as it was wont to do most of the time. Striding out the supposed
Bridge and averting her eyes from the horrific scene of water behind her,
she strode down the passage and back the way she had come originally.
This time she encountered no one, but she did feel the ship lurching around,
making her fall sideways and into the deck wall on numerous occasions. Her
75 kgs smacking onto the deck floor with regular monotony on her way back
to the hanger deck once more.
Eventually she found the lift that had brought her to the deck she was
currently on and caught it down to the deck she had arrived on. Exiting the
door, she found her Ranger on its side and as badly banged up as she felt
just getting there.
Growling obscenities under her breath, she started looking for something
that looked like it would right the Ranger. Finally she found something and
began pulling at it when to her consternation she heard a high pitched
squeal and looked upwards in alarm.
Before she could react, a large metal container hit her from above and she
was down and out. The container and MRess slid across the deck floor and
came to rest at the foot of a crane. If MRess had been awake she probably
would have kicked the thing in frustration
And sworn at it.
Silence descended on the Hanger Bay.
