Harris stood outside the security office watching as security officers read the
list of security officers lost pinned to the notice board.
When Lloyd read the list, she put her hand over her mouth and started to cry.
Understandable that many of those security officers lost were her friends, the
department had become some sort of insane family and those lost will be dearly
missed.
Now, the security department was down to a strength of 25%. All the departments
needed to be tended to, while must had merely lost their offices, the security
had lost most of its' staff.
Lloyd gaze met Harris', she moved over to the Major, her gaze never leaving his
and then he pulled her into an compassant enbrace, Lloyd merely sobbed into his
shirt as he stroked her hair.
Sometime later
Edwards entered the security office and looked at the Major sitting behind the
desk. She held up a piece of paper and commented. "You're not are you?!"
"There isn't enough left of the department for you to start some trouble now."
Harris told her. "I have problems of leaving you in charge of the department."
"How long with you be gone?" Edwards enquired.
"Only time will tell." Harris answered.
