The third office
Who: Cerebrum
Where: A hallway
Losing both his original psychiatric office and the temporary one he
had set up in the medi-bay didn't discourage him. Cerebrum had set up
a new office in the middle of the hallway. His fee: all who went
through the hallway had to undergo psycho-analysis.
Presumably, it would have been a better idea (in the minds of the
other crewmembers) for Cerebrum not to have set it up in the only
hallway that led to the meeting room.
"Yes, thank you. That's a very interesting neurosis," Cerebrum said
with a wide grin on his face. As soon as his present patient turned
to leave, Cerebrum leaned over to one of his men he had hired to
protect his office from further distraction, and whispered "Call any
security guards not down at the promenade and have them lock up that
nut, immediately."
"Yes sir, Dr Cerebrum sir," the man replied, and instantly started
talking into his little radio. His men were efficient, you had to
give them that, it was just a pity that their main solution to
anything invariably involved guns and high explosives.
