"Welcome on board you two. I am sure you have a good explanation about what was going on" Phil and Tara nodded, puffing and panting. but didnt have enough breath to speak.
Niples turned around back towards the front of the ship smirking in amusement.
He noticed the pilots seat was empty all of a sudden, hearing the door open and quickly shut again he looked out of the cockpit window to see Jay thoutoughly checking the side of the sutom midget.
"Problem Mr. Chrysler?" "If that thing scratched my paint work even as tiny bit......"
"Jay..if you dont mind..."
Jay, realising some things were more important than his paintjob, that had taken him a painstaking week to complete on this side of the ship alone, and clambered back into the cockpit.
"You weren't electrocuted beforehand." Zodar gave an evil glare in Tara's direction then involuntarily rolled his eyes in his sockets, he was going to black out again. "Bring me back to consciousness when you decide to be friendly..." And with a sigh, he passed out on the floor.
"Should we bring him back?" Asked Phil
"Nah..." Said Tara
"Do we even know what were looking for?" asked Dirk..who seemed reluctant to be here, most likely due to bruises he had all over his body from his dramatic entrance back in the meeting room.
"not a clue" Jay said bluntly.
"when everyones quite ready...can we get under way?" the captain asked, getting quite irritated.
He was beginning to see why he never came on away missions. "Your wish is my command  Mon capitan" Jay replied and fired up the thrusters.
The Phoenix lifted from the deckplate and shot forward out of the shuttlebay, looped and dived into the water. Jay activated the new engines, and the ship picked up speed, flicking the switch that worked the floodlights Jay illuminated the water infront of the small vessel, making the view clear and revealing an immense coral reef. ---- end meshing of posts ----
Tara looked down at Zodar and fondled the psych-tazer in her pocket. Tara got up and looked around the Pheonix, she walked up to the side wall of the cockpit and bashed the wall. A pannel fell off the wall, Jay went red and nearly killed Tara, Tara reached in and pulled out a medi-pack then fixed the plate back. Tara smiled at a now confused Jay
"I didn't..."
"Always one somewhere" Tara smiled at Jay and went to fix up Dirk. She applied a non-keto ointment to the bruising and an injection of pain killers. Then walked over to Zodar, paused, then zipped up the medi-pack. Tara looked out of the window and viewed the coral. "Did you just here something?" Phil enquired...
