(Dis)Courage under water

Where: The Promenade
Who: Zack, Cubie, Security, and the Eniram.
When: My watch got wet and stopped.

The security horde's weapons fire fell silent followed by the Enirams
as they ran out of ammo. Several security officers ran up to the top
of the barricade, dropped their trousers and began to moon the
Enirams.
After a few minutes of mooning the Enirams charged, yelling out and
splashing their way through the water.
Just then Zack and Cubie made an appearance.
"Hold!" Harris yelled seeing how eager the security horde was. Then
the Major saw the Richards. "Oh, hell!"
The Enirams continued to charge forward. Then, all of sudden, the
security horde charged up and over their barricade towards the
Enirams.

Zack stopped dead in his tracks. "Cubie, maybe this wasn't such
a good idea!"
Cubie frowned, then shimmered and changed into a disturbingly
graphic version of Lara Croft. "Keep your head down, Zack!" She let
out a battle cry and charged into the Eniram ranks, hurling several
of them back into the ranks behind them. Harpoons and spears
whistled past her as she spun away from them. Then she did a double
front-flip and landed right in the middle of them, whipping out with
a roundhouse kick that floored ten of them.
Zack stood in the knee-deep water, cheering. "Yeah, Cubie! You
go, girl! Boo-yah!"
Five of the Eniram turned and glared at him, then started toward
him with tridents extended. Zack's eyes bulged. "Oh, smeg!" He
turned to run, only to see the security officers charging from the
other direction. Quickly he reached into his jacket pocket and
pulled out two straws he'd been saving from McDonalds. Unwrapping
them, he stuffed them in his mouth and fell over backwards,
submerging himself in the water and using the straws as makeshift
snorkels.
The water sloshed around him as the two forces smashed
together. Zack watched through the ripples for a few seconds, but
decided that just closing his eyes and praying he didn't get stepped
on would be a better use of his time.
