getting back on the dwarf
Who: the previously missing Dwarfers and the scout team headed by Jay
Where: a whole buncha places
When: right now, damnit!
The boat sped across the water at break-neck speed. It had only been
a few minutes before when White Wolf was taken down with the Enriam
sub. Dirk piloted the vessel to the Blue Dwarf, making sure to stay
as far away from the battle as possible(with a 5 mile long ship, that
isn't as hard as it sounds). He brought the boat and it's passengers
to one of the rear airlocks, near the engine rooms. They boarded the
Dwarf through the portal and began to navigate their way through the ship.
Dirk had removed Allie's light bee from the plastic bag and
reactivated her. After several minutes of running through the ship,
they stumbled across Jay, Phil, Tara, DJ, and the rest of that very
large group. The startled, and armed, Dwarfers, in a moment of
surprise, aimed their weapons at the newly returned crew. "Put that
damn thing away before it goes off!" Dirk yelled.
"You'll put an eye out!" added Dren.
"It's good to see you guys back," Jay said. "Hey! Where's Commander
White Wolf?"
"Dead," Dirk said nonchalantly.
"Dead!" the others shouted as soon as the concept hit them, except for
Cerebrum, who continued to make notes.
"He's now sharing Davey Jones's Locker," Dren piped in again. "Must
be hell: having to listen to 'Last Train from Clarkesville' all the
time."
"It's a dark time for the Blue Dwarf," Phil said. "First we're
stranded on an alien world, invaded by sea-men, several of our crew
captured, and White Wolf has been killed."
"Even worse news," Dirk said.
"What! How can it get worse?!"
"Areons," Allie said. "They're the enemies of the Enriams who are
invading the Dwarf and the ones who had originally caught us."
Dirk took over the expostition, "And they're itching to get Enriam
subs or captives. Once they find out about this battle, I'll bet your
bottom dollar/pound that they'll join in too."
OOC- how're you going to deal with that, gang?
