Esteemed Apologies From the Dynamic Duo
Rpg:
=--------------------------------------------------------------------=
Who: Trisees, Shakespeare, Keto, Coffey.
When: Stasis.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Doctor Charles Keto wiped the condensation from the glass covering
to see the two nearly identical faces of Lawrence Trisees and William
shakespeare standing in two side by side stasis booths.
He sighed and hit the button to freeze them, watching as a wave of
light seemed to flicker over each face and then stop in midair,
illuminating strips of them. He turned around to see a tearful Hazel
Coffey standing behind him wiping her eyes.
"Hazel, I vow to find a way to cure them, no matter how long it
takes me," he said, taking hold of the sides of her arms. Coffey
sniffed and walked over to the pods as Keto stole away, a darkened
expression of thought on his face.
She peered through at the faces of Trisees and Shakespeare.
Trisees face was gashed all over and his skin was hanging loosely
from his bones, as if falling apart. He had clumps of hair missing,
and one eye was permanently open, the eyelid severed.
She looked over at Shakespeare who seemed worse. He had more
gashes on his face, and large holes dotted his face, leading to bone.
He was bald and a large circle of red could be seen stretching over
the top of his head and ipping down into eye level.
Both of them looked close to death, and that was the truth.
She sniffed again, and wiped more tears from her face, as her
memory delved back into the whirlwind of events that had just
happened.
Keto screamed loudly in the medibay, as the body of Lawrence
Trisees on a stretcher, was pushed with alarming speed into the
medibay.
"Whateth's up?" asked Shakespeare from the position of his desk.
"Trisees was sent to us a few moments ago from the starbug away
mission," said Keto.
(OOC - This will have to be just after the beans thing and before
the monster. Sorry for any inconvienience.)
"Why? Becasue he got covered in beans?" asked Wildflower, glancing
at him. She did a double take, then looked back at Trisees in more
depth. Keto growled as she noticed the problem.
"No, because beans don't do that! he said, poitning to Trisees head.
Small cuts were appearing on his face, and he seemed to be almost
slowly dissolving, as if a lump of sugar being placed in an area of
water.
Trisees opened his mouth, and Keto could see a shrivelled tongue
and misisng teeth. Trisees let out a cry of pain, and closed his
mouth again.
"What the hell is wrong with him?" asked Wildlfower, as immediately
the entire medibay geared up and rushed over to Trisees side.
Shakespeare gasped, "Why'st thou remidneth me of thy disease
leprosy!"
"Leprosy? That was cured years ago," said Keto.
"Buteth thy condition'st be reminicscnet," said Shakespeare.
"Get me a sedative, Shakespeare," said Keto, starpping Trisees down
and pulling off the scientist coat, followed by Trisees shirt.
Trisees chest was breakign down too, and it seemed to be increasing.
there was a clatter, as vials and apparatus hit the ground, causing
the other medibay members to turn around. Shakespeare was lying on
the ground, clutching his head.
"Oh no, no no! NO NO!!" shouted Keto, running over to the
playwirght to see the same degredation appearing on the surgeon's
head.
"Both of them?" he asked, loudly, as Wildlfower and Coffey picked
up the prone surgeon and placed him onto his own stretcher.
"They're breakign down, why? Is it to do with the pods? Did
Trisees slip up when making a copy of himself? WHAT CAN I DO?!" He
shouted, frantically searching his mind for any kind of answer.
Her looked at the prone men, their faces and bodies falling apart
in front of his very eyes.
"I need to stop this right away to give me time to think," he said
to himself. Wildlfower and Coffey looked at him expectantly.
"Preserve them....stop time...to stop time...STASIS! To the stasis
booths, and hurry!" he shouted, grabbing hold of Trisees stretcher
and dragging it out of the bay with him.
He and Coffey appeared outside the row of stasis booth's almost ten
minutes later, the damage to Trisees and Sahkespeare now appearing
extremely severe.
"We have to get them in here so I can stop the breakdown and work
on a way to fix it," he said, panting. Coffey nodded as both ehr and
Keto took holsd of their respective Stretcher's and lifted the
occupants off each one and into their own booths.
There was a click as the doors closed, and Keto started up the
freezing process. She watched Keto wipe the droplets of water from
the booth's glass, before hittign the begin button.
Coffey blinked, her thoughts travelling up to the present.
"William," she said quietly, looking at the 'sleeping' form of her
lover.
Coffey leant back against the booth and slid to the ground.

======================================================================
OOC - Okay everyone. I have some news for you all. As of now,
William Shakespeare and Lawrence Trisees are out of action. the
reason is, I'm afraid I'm going to have to leave the group for a
while. and I'm not sure how long. In 13 days, I'm leaving my home
of Britain, and my family and moving house to live in America. Yep,
a big step. what it means, is that as far as regular posting goes, I
won't be bale to without an internet connection as such. so posting
wise, I won't be back until I get one. However I will still be able
to update the BD site and the BDT. And occasionally, I might get the
time to look at a few posts.
As such, if it takes me a long time to get an internet connection
to be able to post, let me just say that I've enjoyed writing with
you all immeasurably, and the SOTM were simply added bonuses to being
part of a wonderful group of people. I look forward to the day when
i'll be back, and I hope nothing too drastic has happened in that
time.
For now,
This is goodbye from S.Mather Mayer.
