Niples "Seeing the cleaner"

**Promenade**
Seymour picked his way through the promenade, it had been left in a messy state after the final of the Big brother competition the night before. The Captain had only just finished his shift, so had been unable to attend the celebrations. He had dialled the BT cellnet Big Brother audio-line to hear the end result so knew that Katrina hadn't won.
He had already congratulated Alotta as she had done a small shift in the Drive-room.
 
**Katrina's quarters**
Seymour knocked on the door and combed his hair down with his fingers. He hadn't seen Katrina for over a month so wanted to make a good impression. After a while the door still remained shut with no sign of activity inside the room.
 
Assuming she must be asleep, Seymour slowly opened the unlocked door and crept into the dimly-lit room. Katrina was lying on the bed, looking extremely tired. He wanted to wake her up gently, perhaps by stroking her hair, or blowing softly on her ear.
But instead he tripped over the cat and was flung onto the bed on top of her.
 
After a short struggle of confusion, Katrina gave Seymour a left elbow and threw him off of the bed.
 
"Ow." he said, rubbing the back of his head that had just connected very violently with the wall.
In the dull lighting Katrina could just make out the figure of this man who had just 'attacked' her. She picked up a table lamp and was about to connect it with his head when she accidentally turned the lamp on. Just before she hit him with it.
 
"You know, this isn't at all how I imagined us meeting again." the captain's proud voice said.
Katrina looked a little embarassed, still holding the lamp in mid swing above his head.
