Party time
OOC: Hi everybody, sorry i haven't posted in the past few weeks, but i've
had a huge workload, anyway i've finally caught up with all my work so Joe
Schweeble will now be able to start posting again.
Sean, when do you need the next "Eye on Earth" piece for the BDT?
RPG:
Joe had been seriously depressed ever since the crew found out about him
being a GELF, he had spent most of the past three weeks sitting in the
cinema with the scutters watching endless re-runs of John Wayne movies, and
had only ventured out of the cinema once to throw one of the scutters into
the brig for assaulting a security officer. Joe had made the foolish
mistake of trying to put on a movie that didn't star John Wayne, one of the
scutters didn't take it too well and attacked him viciously with a large
stick.
Joe was currently watching "The Alamo" (for the third time this week) when
suddenly his depression lifted and he felt great. A huge smile formed on
his face and he leapt into the air and shouted with glee. A few of the
scutters turned round and gave him the finger for interupting the movie.
Joe sprinted out of the cinema and headed towards "Parrots".
When Joe entered Parrots there was only about 5 people in there, he stood on
one of the tables.
"Drinks are on me" he shouted.
Joe realised his error about 10 seconds later when Parrots suddenly became
completely full, news travels very quickly on this ship when free drinks are
involved.
A band had appeared from nowhere, took the stage and started playing Elvis
tunes.
Several shouts of "PARTY!!" went up from the crowd and somebody had already
started swinging from the light fittings.
"Oops" Joe thought, but then decided to enjoy the unexpected party. He
hadn't felt this good for a long time.
OOC: If any of this doesn't fit in with whats been happening recently,
please feel free to rewrite it or just put it down to another one of those
time paradox type things.
John (Joe).
