Starbug Aft Section
A while after my last post(which the above post isn't. Mine that is.
Nik ceased his hand warming and stared at the giant alien insect that was
chewing on the Blue Midget. Then he blinked a couple of times and rubbed
his eyes. Yup. Still there. Okay....
"Hmm..." he hmmed. "I could have sworn I was almost sober. Ah well, must
find those green and purple pills the doc gave me after that incident last
week," he said in a 'trying to fix his personal time/space continuum without
bothering to do a fill in post for the missing week of in character time'
type way.
Nik searched his pockets. The pleasant tasting green and purple pills
weren't there. He looked out the window. The giant bug was still there.
"Tsk," he tsked, and then began searching the aft section by taking
everything out of every cupboard and piling it in the middle of the room.
Still no fast acting pleasant tasting green and purple pills. Still a giant
bug nibbling on the Blue Midget.
"Perhaps they're in the cockpit," he asked himself in a rhetorical type way,
and wandered towards the front of the ship, pulling the occasional cupboard
open to rummage throught it (occasional cupboards are like occasional
tables, in that they're never around when the occasion calls for it.
Possibly something to do with Zen. Whoever he is).
As Nik (finally) entered the cockpit he noticed that the security ensign who
had been assigned to watch over him was gawping out the window in a very
unprofessional manner, and that his quick dissolving fast acting pleasant
tasting green and purple pills were sticking out of the side of the pilots
seat.
"Ah, there they are. I best get some water." And he wandered down to the
galley to take a couple of poly-unsaturated quick dissolving fast acting
pleasant tasting green and purple pills.
A big grin spread across his face as he slumped into one of the cold metal
galley seats and began giggling to himself...
Will Nik manage to survive one post without getting drunk or drugged?
Is he still capable of flying Starbug? Will he try anyway?
Whats with the poly-unsaturated quick dissolving fast acting pleasant
tasting green and purple pills really? (rhetorical question, but if you
know the answer you can feel free to look smug)
How will Nik feel about seeing another giant hamster running around Blue
Dwarf?
Will I ever bother to post that fill in section?
Are those last two questions related?
