A meeting with the captain

Who: Cerebrum, Lloyd
Where: Security offices
When: Shortly after the last post
> "Major Harris wants to cut down on paperwork so there is no forms
> to fill in." Lloyd replied. "But there is something you could do
> for us. The Major told me to tell you if he could get a hold of
> copy of one of those tapes you have he could sort out your budget
> problem. This mean anything to you?"
"Yes," said Cerebrum, "I recently had the opportunity to interrogate
several security guards. I have their hypno-therapy sessions recorded
on a digital tape," he produced the tape from his pocket and placed
it on the table, "and here it is. I would like to give it to you, but
patient-psychiatrist trust rules forbid me from giving it to you.
Now, if I were to forget it somewhere and someone were to play it and
listen to it rather than return it, that wouldn't be my fault and
there would be no breach of trusy regulations.
He glanced at his watch again and stood up, "Now, if you'll excuse
me, I have a meeting with the captain," then he walked out of the
room, leaving the tape lying on the table.
Later, in Empty Storage Bay 25
Cerebrum walked into the room, having just spent a good fifteen
minutes trying to figure out where the Captain was. He saw that the
Captain was playing croquet, it was a game Cerebrum had played for a
while, before he started hitting the other players with the mallet
more often than the ball.
"Captain," he called out, while walking across the bay.
"Yes?" said Captain Niples, "Who are you?"
"I'm Dr Patrick Cerebrum, your new chief psychiatrist. I transfered
over recently from the JMC Yellow Giant at the request of its
Captain. I've been wanting to speak with you for a while concerning
some important matters. I had set up an appointment with you, but I
guess Holly didn't bother telling you about it. Anyway, what I want
to discuss is the psychiatric department's budget, or rather, its
lack of one. Do you know that we don't get a single red pennycent in
funding? Also, Dr Keto gets really shouty when I try to buy equipment
using the medi-bay's budget. So I need you to set up a budget,
preferably a large one, so that I might be able to treat all the
insane people on this ship, also known as the crew."
