"Well, sir, Allie's light bee was malfunctioning. In a way sir she was dying. I helped get her fixed up, but she managed to escape. Harris didn'tt mention it to me, so I naturally assumed it was okay , she'd paid he penace and was now able to rejoin the crew."
"What about the lab?"
"When WW was presumed missing, I thought the loss of him would be a great problem for the crew. So I decided to clone him. It didn't work. The machine caused the clones to explode. I found out that someone has taken some bits from the machine and it was those that caused the hamster-clone to explode. As for not clearing the mess up - simple answer.."
What's that?"
"No mop in the lab. Not even a cloth for light spills."
