Thats Niples with one 'P'!

After the meeting with Whitewolf and the medical staff
Niples had been quite busy so far today, he had already been utterly
confused by temporal technobabble by commander Whitewolf and seen former
‘Shakespeare’ Larry Trisees. It appeared that Larry had gone all
Jeckel-and-Hyde and had swapped personalities. Niples thought it was a
shame, he liked the bard’s way of speaking, he seemed to bring an air of
class to the ship. Niples had also spoken with Katy Roskev who he had
eventually persuaded to become the new Chief Engineer to replace Jason
Smegg.
Smegg was transferring off the ship when they rendezvoused with the JMC
‘Pink Dwarf’ in a few days time. Niples was sad to see the young man go, he
was one of the original crewmembers that came aboard when the Blue Dwarf
first set off on its mission.
Niples finished off his drink and decided to go for a tour of the ship, he
wanted to see how things have been going in every other section of the ship.
***Parrotts***
Seymour’s tour of the ship had started in Parrotts and ended there as he
couldn’t be bothered to go anywhere else. Maybe tomorrow.
He ordered a white wine from the bar and sat on one of the far tables. An
omnibus of Big Brother so far was showing on the TV screens, the sound was
barely audible over the buzz of noise in the bar. As Seymour sipped his wine
he could just hear Katrina admit to having a relationship with the Captain.
Seymour was calmly surprised about this, he wanted to keep it a secret for
as long as possible but knew the truth would come out eventually. He hoped
that everyone would be alright with this, and hoped no-one would be upset
with Katrina getting preferential treatment from him. He had to draw a fine
line between being nice to Katrina and showing favour to a single
crewmember.
“Hello Captain Nipples.” A voice said.
Seymour looked up and saw a very confident looking Phil Febuggure.
“That’s Niples with one ‘P’.” The captain said trying not to show the
annoyance with getting his name wrong.
Niples gestured for him to sit, and he did.
“I’ve been hearing about some of the thins you’ve done lately.” Said Niples.
“Cloning the current first officer and not cleaning up after it blew up….”
Phil grinned smugly.
“…That was an unethical, illegal and highly messy thing to do. Not to
mention a waste of ship’s resources. I expect much better from you in the
future Mr. Febuggure. And what’s this I hear about Allie’s light-bee?”
<How do you reply Phil?>
OOC- I’m sorry Stewie for not continuing your lead yet, I’m still a day
behind because this computer crashed when I was typing this post twice so
I’ll come to Stewies for dinner the day after.
