Major Harris 'Ffion, planet of surprises pt2'

The trio of security officers hurried back to the ships as fast as they could with the harsh winds of this barren world at their backs.
"What's that?!" Lloyd yelled.
"What's what?!" Harris shouted over the wind.
Then it became clear as to what Lloyd heard as a loud buzzing filled the air. The trio looked up towards the source of the sound and then they saw something darting through the sand filled winds. It was another bug, only half the size of the one encountered before and it looked sleeker and clearly had wings.
Harris watched the bug fly overhead and out of sight and then heard the other sound.
"Behind us!" Lloyd yelled.
From behind them a large dusk cloud appeared and approached quickly sped towards the security officers. As it grew nearer it became clearer to what was causing the cloud, three of the larger ground based bugs charging as fast as they could.
Before Death Wish had his chance Harris kicked his legs from under the deranged security officer and he fell into the ground. The last thing he needed was Death Wish getting them all killed.
Due to their size the bugs ran over the security officers without even noticing they were where. The security trio stood as still as they could avoiding beginning knocking down or impaled by a bug's leg.
When the bugs were out of sight Harris yelled. "What was that?!"
"They were following the flyer, Gov!" Lloyd shouted. "I think the flyer maybe some sort of scout!"
"And they're heading towards the ships!" Harris yelled. "Move it!"
The three took off after the bugs towards where the two ships had landed. Why? God only knows!
