Elephant (Part 3)

Chuck woke up in the medibay with a rather annoying
itch that was irritating his groin. He found to his
horror that his arms and legs were strapped to the bed
he was in.
"Shall I get one of the skutters to see to that itch
for you, Charles?!" asked Holly, appearing on one of
the wall monitors.
"I've asked you at least a hundred times over the past
week to call me Chuck!!!!!" Chuck replied
"Did you? I've had a lot on my mind recently. Been
busy doing...erm...stuff"
"what stuff?" asked Chuck, somewhat perplexed as to
what Holly had been up to.
"Well...er..actually i've been doing pretty much
bugger all, i just wanted you to think i had a life"
After first meeting Holly, Chuck wondered if Holly
might have been a bit senile. Now he was conviced that
the computer was in fact a lot senile. After a short
pause a huge purple garden shed wandered into the
medibay.
"er, Holly, why has a huge purple garden shed just
wandered into the medibay?" asked Chuck
"It's the sedative. it must have reacted with all that
G.O.D stuff you took. You're hallucinating. Don't
worry, it'll wear off soon."
"Don't worry?!! I have a right to worry when I see
purple garden sheds coming towards me!" By this time
Chuck was wondering where the medical staff were.
"Where are the trained professionals?" he asked
finally
"We don't have any trained professionals...Oh you mean
the medical staff. I have no idea where they are.
They're probably in Parrotts."
"Ok."
The vid screen which had been showing re-runs of
Jefferson Jones Private Eye suddenly displayed the
captain's head.
"Charles Drummer, as soon as you're well enough to
walk I want to see you in my office. Understood?" is
what the head said. He didn't leave time for an answer
to the question. The captain's image fizzled out and
Jefferson Jones re-appeared.
"will some one please turn this cack off?!" said
Chuck. He knew now that the medical staff must've told
the captain about what he had taken. Bastards.
He was, of course, completely wrong...
