Once he was satisfied that he'ed been shoved side to side enough for one night from the crowd exiting Parrotts. jay walked over to Alota.
"Sorry, alota..these power outages are going on all over the smegging ship. how d'ya think i ended up with purple perambulators"
"Not to worry, this is the blue dwarf remember. the JMC's only deep space loony bin." she replied
"guess i'll have to repay you some other way!"
"Guess so!, but right now i think you oughta get those shiny shins of yours down to the medibay."
"Ketos not there right?"
"Right"
"Ok  in that case then, I'll see you later."
He headed towards the metro system seconds later he hit the floor. Whne alota got to him he was unconcious.
Jay woke up in the Medibay a few minutes later. Tara was across the room.
"Ah-ha, you're awake." she said
"What the hell happened?"
"seems there was a couple of side effects to the ointment i gave you. you passed out, alota brought you here."
"SMEG!"
"Anyway looks as though you're ok now, i'll let you go. Just take it wasy for a couple of days."
"Ok thanks Tara."
As he hobbled towards his darkened quarters, he stopped at Mckenzies to but a flashlight not actually to keen on the idea of breaking his legs this time.
He thought to himself. 'well jay you've gone and blown it again, a night out with an attractive woman and you start glowing...nice one genius...'
He arrived at his quarters and using the flashlight to fing his way aroung clambered into his bunk and fell asleep.
in the darkness while he was sleeping, someone walked across the room, and left out into the bowels of the ship.........
