Marlene whispered to Larry. "Should we tell them the buoy being 600 years old?"
Rongside looked around him at the happy and determined faces. "Nahh" he said.
'Well, well.' Harris throught to himself as the Major stood on the other side of the doorway.
To add to the list of what has happened so far, mercenaries have boarded them, mistakenly brought aboard five polymorphs having responded to a SOS and then there was the business with that GM chicken. Now they were responding to a 600 year old SOS. Well, can't complain it was a boring mission so far, stressful yes, boring no.
Harris' mind began to wonder to whom he should assign to the security team that would be going down to this planet that had sent out this buoy. Lloyd was first on the list because she had told his councillor about the twitch he has when someone says that bloody surname.
The Major personal would rather stay aboard ship to keep a eye on things here for the two times he had left the ships, the crime rate rose greatly and when he had returned the crime rate dropped like a lead weight. Both times the Captain's rubber duck had been stolen and yet he never could figure out why anyone would want to do this, what would they do with the Captain's duck anyway?
Harris checked his watch and saw that he was late for his appointment to see Councillor Simmons, again!
