Who: The away teams
When: Near the end of the funeral
Down on the planets surface the away teams all stood around looking at the
viewscreens on their comm units the silence was only broken by the
gutwrenching sobbing of Joe Schweeble.
Alota put a reasuring hand on Joe's shoulder, "You must have been pretty
close to Harbringer and Belladonna"
"N..No" Joe replied "I..I..n..never even m..met them" Joe cried.
"But they were in the security department were'nt they?" asked Alota
"Yes, b..b...but i never saw them, i think i might have seen Harbringer
briefly once, but i never s..sp..spoke to him" Joe answered
"Then why are you crying so much"
"I...I'm not crying, i've..i've got something in my eye" Joe lied
He wiped his eyes and eventually got himself under control.
An eerie howling rose up from the jungle, it was quite distant but there was
no mistaking that it was the ape-wolf-bear things, possibly mourning their
own dead.
They all watched on the screens, stood to attention and saluted as the
canister of Christine McKenzies ashes was blasted out into space.
