Alota myself have sustained some injuries, but we'll survive. We've located the black box and a personal log of a possible Red Dwarf crewmember named Chen. We're following the trail of what we suspect is Chen's bootprints. We'll be heading Northeast. Do have you got any news of Away Team two, Stewie?" "No sir. Their still out of radio contact."
"*Damn*, I hope thier alright! When you get a report from them,
Stewie, Hail me ASAP! I'll be listening for it. And in the meantime,
I'll make another report to you in about 1 or 2 hours, when we stop

"Excellent!"
Stewie clapped with joy. At least he knew that Scout Party One was
okay. Now only a matter of the second party. Suddenly the radio crackled
into life, making Sirus' shock circuits turn out of control.
"Hamster 1 to Base over."
"Yes, Hamster 1?"
"Forgot to mention - I'm bloody thankful for those jackets! Out!"
Stewie was quite chuffed. There wasn't anything better that could happen.
But there was - Owen Numan appeared in the Drive Room.
"What's happening Stewie?"
"The Away Teams seem to be doing fine. You?"
"Oh reasonable. I'm preparing for the Big Brother thing."
"Ah." Stewie loathed Reality TV. If they wanted reality, why
not film the street or pigeons in the park? Anyway, he had to act interested.
"I was wondering if you could operate the bar, as I am going away."
"WhaaaaaaAAAAAAA?" Stewie seemed shocked - he was going to supervise
a bar! Not any old bar, but PARROTS!!! It would be an investment.
After shopping at McKenzies, relax in Parrots ...
"It's a deal!"
"I knew I could count on you Stewie. If you need anything, you can
ask me ..."
"Hmmm ..." he thought ...

Sirus obeyed.

The noise was unbearable, but they heard a voice. It was muffled
but it sorta sounded like Harris.
"Huhoo? Huhoo? Muwa Hawwisssssssssss"

Sirus switched off the radio.
"Only one thing to do," said Stewie, "get ear mufflers! "
"And me, Master Stuart?"
"Lower the volume of your audio intake circuits"
"Yes sir."10 minutes later
Everyone, ears protected, was prepared for Stewie to switch on the radio.
SSSSSSSCCCCCCRRRREEEEECCCCCHHHHH!!!!!

Sounding a tad more comfortable, Stewie clicked a few sound switches,
to clear the input and output of the radio.
"Base to Nutter 1, Base to Nutter 1 Are you receiving me? Over."
SSSSSSSCCCCCCRRRKKKSSCCHHHHH!!

"MajorSCREEEEEEEEEHarrissssSCREEEEEEEEpeaking overSCREEEE~KER~"
"Hang on Major."
THUD!

Stewie hit the console, which magically cut out the screeching. The people
took off the ear mufflers, but-
SSSSSSSCCCCCCRRRREEEEECCCCCHHHHH!!!!!

Ear mufflers back on, Stewie had an idea. As long as he kept hitting the console
the sound would stop. So he contacted Harris again.
"Nutter 1 ~THUD!~ Nutter 1 ~THUD!~ This is base! ~THUD!~ Are you receiving me ~THUD!~ Over?"
"Yes, Base."
Stewie felt ~THUD!~ happy again ~THUD!~ and he was going to contact
the Captain ~THUD!~ soon ~THUD!~
"Please deliver ~THUD!~ your report!~THUD!~ Over!"
