Barbecues, Ludo and Strife in the Medibay

Location: Medibay, at least momentarily.
Character: Charles (Charlie?!) Keto, William Shakespeare, Hazel
Coffey, Jennifer Wildflower, The Big Pink Tree, Appendix A
Time: Still Thursday (and Twenty-Nine Minutes Past A Random Hour)

Keto looked up as Nurse Coffey entered the medibay, looked around,
and then whispered, "Why is it so quiet in here?"
Shakespeare laughed. "It ith, a long tale." he said.
Unfortunately for Shakespeare, Keto had been penning up his rage
over the last few hours, and right about now the very last thing he
needed was to hear a subordinate surgeon laugh indirectly about him.
Hence, Shakespeare was somewhat surprised when Keto's face appeared
about half an inch away from his own, yelling at a volume slightly
lower than that which would shake the ship apart.
"SHAKESPEARE!" Keto bellowed, "THE NEXT TIME I FIND YOU DOING
SOMETHING IN THIS MEDIBAY THAT DOESN'T COMPLY WITH EVERY THOUGHT IN
MY HEAD, I WILL HAVE YOU STRUNG UP BETWEEN MERCURY AND VENUS AND HAVE
SMALL PEBBLES LAUNCHED AT YOUR HEAD!"
With that, Keto stepped back, twirled his medical lab coat about
him dramatically (blissfully unaware that the Big Bird costume could
probably have made a better impression) and headed for the medibay
doors.
"I am going to relax," he said, as the doors hissed open, "And I
don't want to be disturbed for anything!"
That said, he stormed off, subconsciously trying to learn the
mysterious ways of storming and the different styles available.
Behind him, the medibay staff looked at each other. Even the
appendix was cowering back in its room, stunned.
"Welleth..." managed Shakespeare. At that moment, however, the Big
Pink Tree let out a sad cry and bounced forwards, knocking
Shakespeare over as it hurried through the doors and after Keto.
Coffey helped Shakespeare to his feet, looking up at the doors.
"What was up with the Tree?" she wondered aloud.
