Piloting manouvers

The Starbug shuttle shot out of the Blue Dwarf's landing bay at high speed, doing a slight roll as it shot into the inky blackness of space to avoid an asteroid.
Piloting the Starbug was the navigation officer Kieran Loes, beside him was Lt. Smegg who went along for the ride in case his engineering expertise was needed. At the moment he was gripping the dashboard in front of him and gritting his teeth as the ship accelerated.
Kieran calmly turned the shuttle around an asteroid the size of the empire state building and began searching for the source of the communication signals.
