DJ must have been 20 feet in the air. She screamed with delight and
did a double back flip before landing perfectly on the ground. She
turned her head and looked for Chris behind her. He wasn't there. She
turned around and was surprised to see him in front of her, gliding
and scanning the surroundings.
"That's wrong!" DJ screamed as she saw a giant potato with arms
punching a giant carrot with legs that was kicking him.
Without warning, DJ fell face first onto the virtual pavement, her
palms skidding painfully. She turned around and looked up at a nearby
tree. A small, brown, furry creature hopped up and down on a branch,
laughing.
"Did I injure your spine?" it giggled hysterically.
DJ flipped him off. "No, puke-face."
Wiping her knees and palms off, she got up and looked for Zodar. He
was way ahead of her.
D'Arcy-Jada narrowed her eyes playfully. "I don't think so, Zodar."
With that, she sped off after him.
