Game On! Game On!

> will be thrown out in front of us by creatures that don't count as
> anomalies. Each time you trip, you lose points. Oh yeah, and
> sometimes, in the road, there will be ramps and you have to do
tricks
> on them for mega-points. Got it?"
> Chris nodded. "Sounds fun."
> DJ smiled. "Yeah, neat, huh? Oh, and no stopping. You lose a lot of
> points if you stop for no reason. Okay?"
> Chris nodded again. "You ready to go?"
> "I was born ready," DJ returned. "I'm going to whip your ass,
Zodar," she added, grinning.
"We'll see about that..." Zodar replied as they glided down the
street.
"Looks tame enough..." Chris thought to himself.
As the two players parted, Chris could hear DJ shouting out "That's
wrong!" ahead as he desperately tried to regain lost ground.
"Hey, that's definately wrong" Chris said. It was a light post with a
giant flower on the end instead of a light bulb.
Suddenly a small wall, the size of a small garden fence, popped up in
front of Chris. "Ah shit." Chris thought as he attempted a last
minute jump over it. The jump was good except his back foot clipped
the edge and sent him falling forward.
DJ looked back and saw that Chris had fallen. Only wierd thing about
it was she couldn't see him anywhere.
She looked down. Chris was in a kneeling position, right on her
heels. He looked up and smiled at her.
She turned back to see a ramp fast approaching. "Oh yeah! Air time!"
She said to herself.
"How about we give these boosters a work out?" Chris shouted over the
noise of the wind.
"You're on!" Shouted DJ as the ramp started underneath them.
The two shouted out the command, "Engage Boosters!" and the two were
flug off the ramp with a mighty burst of speed, into the virtual air.
