D'Arcy-Jada Longwood had just woken up when she heard what Katrina
said about her being lonely. Her still wonky mind didn't hear Chris'
reply; it kept zoning in and out of the land of the living. But she
did feel the cat nuzzling itself in her hair.
The next thing DJ knew, all the lights were off and all noise was
gone. She sat up, feeling somewhat sober. She hopped down out of the
bunk and looked around. She recognized Katrina's quarters, but didn't
know how she had gotten there.
Katrina shifted in her bed, PITA purring at her feet.
DJ smiled. She was very thankful Katrina was worried about her. She
saw the pen and paper laying on the table and sat down at Katrina's
desk.
"Sweet Katrina,
Thanks for keeping me from drowning in my own vomit. That would
have been a bummer. I heard what you said to Chris Zodar. If he said
he'd come visit me (I didn't hear the reply cuz I was drunk), tell
him to come and meet me in the AR Suite at 10 am. No one will be in
there because they'll still be asleep, so I can actually get to know
him. Later, and tell the Cap I said 'Hi.'
Still not awake,
~DJ~"
DJ quietly left the room.
