Allie dropped the drunk act. She pushed back her red
hair and let herself smile. "All right, so you know.
Who told you?"
"None of your business," Tara spat. "Why did you do
it?"
Allie shrugged. "If I told you, you'd think it was
ancient and childish. But, then again, I really don't
like the living much. Or, come to think of it, the
dead who like the living."
Tara seemed to be getting angrier. "Tell me why!"
"Remember when you, me and Phil were supposed to all
go into AR together, but something happened and it had
to be cancelled?"
Tara looked thoughtful. "No."
"I figured you wouldn't. Well, I was still in the
room when you and Phil decided to wait till the
weekend, and not with me," Allie explained. "I hate to
say it, but it really hurt my feelings, and I don't
like having my feelings hurt. So, I decided on
revenge."
"That's it? All this over a stupid AR game?"
"In a matter of speaking, yeah," Allie admitted.
"Oh, and in case you're not smart enough to figure it
out on your own, I was the one who sabotaged your
game, not those other two screw-ups."
Tara's eyes went wide. "You?"
Allie nodded.
"You bitch!" Tara screamed. She lunged at Allie,
wrapping her hands around the hologram's neck,
squeezing as hard as she could.
Allie let the woman squeeze. It didn't effect her.
"Try again, Tara."
