Robot Wars

 
Kayn smiled as ODT came out with him. Efof was happy too - the engine was finally installed properly.
 
His robot looked pretty tame compared to some of the others. The one besides Tara and Alota seemed to move almost too fast for Kayn to see it. The Armourzilla he had already seen, but some of the other robots were even worse - AnTiBoT was clicking nervously, the Ointmentator's engine was purring... even the docile Nemesis looked sadistic in the light...
 
PINBALL MATCH
"Right, so here's our pinball warrior tournament" David said in his raspy liverpudlian accent "And our first Entrant to the Pinball Match - Or Die Trying, Piloted by Kayn and Efof"
 
Some people in the crowd cheered
 
The countdown timer started, and the klaxon blew a signal that meant go...but felt more at home for the warning of imminent Armageddon...
And ODT trundled along, and smacked itself straight through a set of bottles (60 points) before careering over a see-saw (50). Efof then took the controls and managed to push one of the house robots back before swiping away another 60 points. Once more over the seesaw (50) and five bottles later (50) ODT stopped it's pinball run
 
"And ODT scored 270 points..." began Lister. Efof smiled, and Kayn was also happy. They didn't use any weaponry yet...but they had managed to score quite a good run
