Scutter squash, anyone?

Where: Cargo Bay
Who: White Wolf, Penny Lloyd and Donover
Time: That late time in the evening and early next morning when your
too bleary eyed to successfully read a clock!
Penny yawned, covering her mouth with her hand while heading for the
door and then quickly grining while saying over her shoulder "Well,
I'm going to go get some sleep before the competition. I think I can
leave watching Amourzilla's maiden trashing of what's left of the
cargo bay to you two."
"Ok, Miss Lloyd!" Replied Donover as he and the huge hamster waved
thier goodbye to her as she left. Donover finished "I'm going to time
how long it takes to find the hidden robot target I placed behind the
crate behind it with a stopwatch.", while activating the 'on switch'
from the remote and starting the stopwatch at nearly the same time.
as Amourzilla powered up and unfurled from it's balled up form, it
stood up and flashed it's glowing red eyes over the entire area
searching for a target. And within a second, it quickly spun around
and smashing the crate to splinter, and spouted a gout of flame
melting the hidden robot target Donover had refered to. Just then, a
scutter suddenly entered the cargo bay carrying a letter addressed to
Commander White Wolf. Without a nanosecond of hesitation, the
Amourzilla smashed the little scutter as flat as roadkill with it's
tail. Then the Amourzilla turned around again, and it's red eyes
glowered at them as if it *enjoyed* the kills it just made.
White Wolf quickly reached over and activated the 'off switch' from
the remote, while Donover stopped the stopwatch, gulping nervously
while saying with slight surprise, "It aquired and killed two targets
in less than one and a quarter seconds..."
White Wolf walked over and picked up the quarter inch thick, letter
embedded scutters remains and said "Perhaps we better keep the
Amourzilla turned off until competition, so we don't have pay for any
more scutter pancakes! In the meantime, I'll see if I can open my
letter with a can opener..." And then the huge hamster left the cargo
bay.
