Then Cubie spotted the giant hamster bounding over to them. "Heads
up - we're about to be visited by the prosecuting
attorney."
Zack turned around just as White Wolf arrived. "Uh, hello,
commander. May I help you?"
"Are you Zack, and Cubie?"
"Yes, that's us." Replied Zack, as Cubie best behind him to put a bit
of distance between her and the overgrown hamster.
"I'd like to ask you both some questions, and for you cooperation in
answering them, I'm willing to offer a reduction in the charges
against you."
"Oh, we're willing to answer anything withou...<Mmph>" began Zack
before Cubie quickly reached out and clamped her hand over his mouth,
and said to White Wolf "We'll gladly cooperate in exchange for the
reduction in our charges."
"Good. Why don't we step into this counsel chamber over here, so we
can talk in private?" replied the 6' 1" hamster while walking towards
the indicated chambers, Zack and Cubie followed him.
They quickly entered, and sat down around a table in the center of
the chamber.
White Wolf pulled out an electronic clipboard and slid it them in
front of them, "If you'll provide your thumb print to sign these
court documents indicating your agreement to the reduction in charges
in exchange for cooperating in this interview and releasing it's
recording for other uses if it's needed."
Zack glanced at the legal form, and them quickly applied his thumb to
it. Cubie inquired "I'm an advanced hologram, can it take my thumb
print?"
"Yes, this clipboard can take a thumb scan from a hologram." replied
White Wolf, and then Cubie pressed her thumb to it. White Wolf
quickly picked it up, and glanced it the display showing the results,
and nodded. "Well, it's good to see your not on my list of dangerous
STCP criminals."
Zack said, "Whew!", and Cubie raised an eyebrow and began to
ask "How did you..."
White Wolf said "I'll explain my knowledge of the STCP to you some
other time cubie. What I have to ask you may be of more immediate
importance right now." White Wolf touched a button on the top of the
clipboard, and it displayed an image of the D-gun while he
continued "Do either of you recognise this weapon?"
Zack immediately shook his head, Cubie's hand quickly went to her
mouth while she tried to stifle a shocked "Ohh!"
"I see that you do, Cubie, I'll come back to that in a moment, but
first I also need to ask" And huge hamster touched the button on the
top of the clipboard again, and it displayed an image of a pitch
black hamster with scraggily fur, and a
opaque white left eye "Do either of you recognise this fellow."
Cubie shook her head, and Zack said "Never saw him before. Is it
anyone we should know?"
White Wolf frowned, and sat back for a moment in thought, and then
leaned forward and replied "I hope not, because this individual calls
himself 'darken'. He's been an enemy of mine for well over a century
and he's a real vicious killer. He would be the STCP's most wanted
criminal if he hadn't used the D-gun to wipe from existance nearly
everyone who knew about him. I must admit that I'm very surprised
that either of you know of him and are still alive. Is that why the
STCP is after both of you, because you know about the D-gun
existence?"
"Um... No, I don't think that's why thier after us, because... Well,
Zack sorta stole me from them." replied Cubie.
The hamster eyebrows went up in suprise, "so your an STCP AI with
time travel capability?"
"Yes."
The Hamster scratched his chin as he thought outload "Then that may
explain why your still alive, And how you know about the D-gun! Your
memory must be from before Darken wiped out the people that knew
about him with the gun, and removed the information from the STCP
core computers. So your probably the only ones besides myself &
Darken who know of the D-gun's existance... So the STCP is not here
because they or him has figured where I've hidden the D-gun, But
instead their appearance here must be because of them detecting you
doing some time travelling. And that would mean you just made a trip
recently right, Cubie?"
"Yes, She went to the STCP headquarters with Tara to help her get an
AI because the ones in Stewies store were rather pricey for her."
replied Zack while Cubie's face slowly went pale with horror, as she
quietly said "You've got the D-gun hidden somewhere *HERE* on the
Blue Dwarf?!?"
"Yes. and I've taken every precaution I can think of to protect it,
but I would appreciate it if you don't do any more time traveling so
you won't attract the STCP's attention anymore."
"Yeah sure." Replied a rather shaken Cubie as she realised something
else, "Your not going to turn us in to the STCP?"
"I see no reason why I should, because we all seem to be on the same
side here."
Zack then said, "Um so what's going to happen to us with this stow
away and court business?"
"Mmm, I'll file a request with the judge for dropping the stowaway
charge in favor of a reduced charge of 'Failure to properly file the
new crew member forms' in exchange for your cooperation. I realise
it's a technicality, But I have to be honest, unless your defending
attorney pulls off some kind of miracle in there, It's the best shot
you've got at Stewie and the both of you getting off with just some
stiff fines." And White Wolf stood up to extend his paw to shake.
"Gee, Thanks Commander!" said Zack as he shook White Wolf's paw.

Nearly three hours later, back in the court room when the Bailiff
calls the court back in session.
"Are you ready to continue Mr. Bangladesh?" ask Judge Anglasaark.
"Yes, your Honor." Replied Ramu
"Are you Mr. White Wolf?"
"I would like to file this request due to some new information I've
recently been informed of your honor." Replied the huge hamster,
while proffering the Legal papers containing the reduced charges
request.
The Bailiff retrieves them and hands to Judge Anglasaark, who quickly
scans them, and while frowning, and turning towards White Wolf and
asking "You do realise this is highly irregular, I can't fathom why
you'd want to do it. But you are their Prosecutor, and I assume you
have your reasons so I'll accept it. But, If I find out Mr.
Bangladesh has threatened you in any way to get this, I will file
charges of miscarriage of justice against the both of you!"
Anglasaark then turned to Ramu and addressed him, "It seems it's your
lucky day Mr. Bangladesh, because Mr. White Wolf is filing to reduce
the charges to 'Failure to properly file the new crew member forms'
in exchange for your clients pleading guilty and accepting the
mandatory penalities, unless you and your client wish to contest
them. But if you do decide to contest this reduction, I think you'll
have a harder time convincing the jury your side of the case after
doing something as foolish as that. And, if you would please quickly
inform the court of your decision after you and client review this
filing, so we can get on to finishing this trial."
